We invite you to the gala awards evening

NUR is sponsor of the World Water Day Photo Contest 2022 and invites you to the awards night, which will take place on Tuesday March 22 at 9 pm in live online streaming.

It will be an evening of art, beauty, photography and especially commitment. March 22 is the World Water Day indeed. On this occasion, we celebrate the award ceremony of the World Water Day Photo Contest - now at its sixth edition - with 1100 photos participating from 55 countries around the world. This year's theme is "Water, Making the invisible, visible" and focuses on the photos and images that best bring to light the problem of water mismanagement or lack of water, which is often hidden or underestimated. This issue involves billions of people around the world, and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. UN-Water, institutional partner of the photo contest, dedicates the World Water Day to the promotion of practical activities around the world to raise awareness on the right to water.

The event

The awards night will be held on March 22 and NUR, as sponsor, is happy to invite you to an evening of awareness and artistic celebration. The event, fully online, will be broadcasted from Palazzo Arese Borromeo in Cesano Maderno with the announcement of the Contest winners.

It will be enriched by the concert of the brass quintet 'Milano Luster Brass', introduced by the narration of Andrea Scarduelli, artistic director of the Contest. There will be some short and dynamic speeches representative of the wide range of Supporters of the Competition, including the one by the representative of UN-Water

The event will be available online for free on March 22 - World Water Day - at 9 p.m. on www.worldwaterday.it.
